The underlying objective of CORPUS® is to make the meaning of information in documents usable for machine processing and to develop the links between statements, ideas and knowledge. Drawing conclusions using rule-based, automated processes permits the discovery of completely new links between information, which have remained hidden until now due to the large – unstructured – data volume. In part this required the implementation of learning knowledge models, processes to integrate user behaviour, for instance by means of tagging, rating, visit duration on websites and inference procedures.
Furthermore, CORPUS® is a semantic content and knowledge database, and, simultaneously, a content archive equipped to handle extremely large data volumes. Within this framework, CORPUS® imports, annotates, classifies and administers digital content. This facilitates the ability to link various content and product offers. CORPUS® stores a multitude of digital content, such as text and office documents, images, videos, music titles, web pages, feeds, blog and forum content, and various forms of advertisements. CORPUS® is positioned as a content repository and publication system, logically between the content sourcing system and content destination, such as Internet/Intranet portals, mobile consumers (iPad, Slate, smartphone) and/or delivers content from machine to machine using web services. Depending on the need and task at hand, the CORPUS® Enterprise Edition permits our intelligent modules, consisting of language processing, ontological and machine learning processes, to be easily linked as from a modular kit into an overall functionality.
